If you have completed one of the above research degrees at Cambridge you are invited to submit a copy of your final thesis to the institutional repository, Apollo. Before you start your deposit we ask you to:

  • Ensure you have the version corresponding to the final paper version submitted to the Board of Graduate Studies, including any corrections requested by the examiners.
  • Make sure that the file(s) is available in a suitable electronic format.
  • Check whether or not your thesis contains any third party copyright material - if you need help, please contact the Apollo repository team at
  • Review the level of access you wish others to have to your thesis. If, for example, you are intending to publish all or part of your thesis or you are planning to apply for a patent you will need to carefully consider this. A decision tree and further information about access levels can be found on the Office of Scholarly Communication's theses pages.

To deposit your thesis, please click on the 'Submit your thesis' button above and fill in the form.

You will be notified by email once your thesis is available in the Apollo repository (we aim to have the upload completed in no more than 48 hours) so please ensure you supply your current email address.

Your thesis will also be searchable on the national EThOS service alongside theses from Universities across the UK.
